Instructions X-remote

Congratulations on your new X-remote control for smartphones (iOS and Android) to mount on the handlebar on motorcycles.
Learn to operate X-remote before you use it when riding, for your own and your fellow commuters safety.

  1. Attach the EVA anti-slip pad to the inside of the remote control bracket to protect your handlebars.
  2. Install the bracket to the handlebar with the nuts and screws. Make sure that the remote control is sliding in from the top so you don’t drop the remote in case it’s not mounted properly.
  3. Insert / slide the remote control on to the bracket untill you hear and feel a soft “click”. Sound indicate that the remote control is locked in its position.
    To unmount the remote control, simply gently push it upwards. A little resistance is indicating that the remote control is in locked position, push a little more until it releases.
  4. Before you use the remote control you must charge it using the following USB-C cable. Net adapter is not included. Use a standard 5 volt as the one you use for charging e.g. your smartphone.
  5. Press any key to wake up the remote control.
  6. Pair with your phone: Open your settings – turn on Bluetooth – Find “Bike Phone Link” Bluetooth device and click to pair. When pairing is successful, the blue light in the lower left corner will remain on continuously, indicating that pairing is succesful. You can then use the Bluetooth remote control to control App software with a playlist.
  7. Charging flashing light – located on the lower left corner of the device. When charging, the flashing light will show a red light that’s flashing.
  8. Bluetooth status light – located at the lower left corner of the remote control indicating the connection status to Bluetooth. When Bluetooth is not connected, the blue light will flash continuously. When connected to Bluetooth, the indicator light will remain on continuously. If Bluetooth is disconnected for 5 minutes it will automatically power off.
  9. Key ambient light – Blue, distributed around the three keys. Press any key to wake up the ambient light.
  10. -/<< Top Key: Long press to decrease volume; Short press to play previous song.
  11. Phone/Play Mittle Key: Answer / hang up phone calls; Play / Pause music.
  12. +/>> Button Key: Long press to increase volume; Short press to play next song.
  13. Camera Key: When your phone is in camera mode your can make a long press on the Volume up or down keys to take a photo.
